Through consultation with members of the Plymouth Food Aid Network, the Aid Redistribution Centre (ARC) was launched in January 2021 to offer:

​

• Easy access to good quality food and other essentials
• Increased storage for large deliveries
• The option to split large donations of food and essential items to share across the Network
• Convenience to food aid providers collecting only what they will need and knowing the community they support will use
• Easy collection from one location
• A space to accept and redistribute non-food donations, such as hygiene products and household cleaning items
• A venue for other charities to use as a donation, storage, and redistribution point
